It is summer vacation now and tourist season in Tamil Nadu has begun. People from all over India visit popular hill stations like Ooty, Kodaikanal and Yercaud. The Government is doing its best to protect the environment from the menace of plastic. We invite your suggestions on how to reduce plastic usage by tourists and what are the alternatives. It would be better if people would start using paper bags instead of plastic bags.In order to remove plastic as a whole we should start this from milk packets which we get everyday morning.Replacing milk packets with glass bottles will do good and result in a huge transformation.In some countries people use plastic and dispose it easily when dipped in water it dissolves fully.Govt can take better steps to remove all the plastic as a whole which will make our state a plastic free state.
